Pro-Silage Builder®
The ideal product to improve feeding value of corn silage, sorghum silage, and high-moisture corn.

Next-generation silage preservative technology is incorporated into Pro-Silage Builder products. The specially selected strains of live beneficial propionic acid and lactic acid producing bacteria improve the fermentation and aerobic stability of forage.



Good forage fermentation and aerobic stability yields:

• Better forage value Rapid reduction in pH which leads to better nutrient value and more dry matter, yielding better animal performance from the forage

• Longer bunk life During feed-out, yeast and mold growth are reduced, leading to less heating and spoilage. The results are less forage dry matter losses during feed-out and a more nutritious, palatable silage readily consumed by livestock.

Pro-Silage Builder should be used when aerobic stability (heating in the presence of air) may be a problem, such as:

•  When corn silage, sorghum silage, or high-moisture corn (HMC) are ensiled

•  When large areas of silage or HMC are exposed to the air as occurs with bunkers and trenches

•  When using silage or HMC in TMRs

•  When feeding only once daily Pro-Silage Builder effectively limits yeast and mold growth, which cause heating and spoilage of silage and HMC.

8655 Pro-Silage Builder 400 WS Concentrate

• Usage rate: mix one 500-gram pack with 100 gal water; apply at ¼ gal (1 qt)/ton of corn silage, sorghum silage, or HMC

• One 500-gram pack will treat 400 tons of corn silage, sorghum silage, or HMC

• Packaged in five 500-gram heat-sealed, foil-lined packs/case

• Inoculation rate: 130,000 CFU*/gram of forage

• Contains 94.4 billion CFU/gram

8656 Pro-Silage Builder WS

• Usage rate: mix one 100-gram pack with 25 gal water; apply at ½ gal/ton of corn silage, sorghum silage, or HMC

• One 100-gram pack will treat 50 tons of corn silage, sorghum silage, or HMC

• Packaged in ten 100-gram heat-sealed, foil-lined packs/case
